Soundlumia's Opinion
Call it "the romantic version of Philips radio sound" or "a great alternative to the Dutch house tone", this is something you don't want to miss from your vintage tube collection. Indeed, you get extra warmth and intimacy from La Radiotechnique (Philips France) tubes in addition to the legendary Heerlen sound, known for its transparent, natural and expansive midrange presentation. The sound stage is spacious, deep and structured like on any Philips tubes. Bass gets deeper than Heerlen but very well controlled and feels as accurate as on their high end German counterparts (Siemens, Telefunken, Valvo etc.)
