Indeed, you get extra warmth and intimacy from Philips France tubes in addition to the legendary Heerlen sound, known for its transparent, natural and expansive midrange presentation. The sound stage is spacious, deep and structured like on any Philips tubes. Bass gets deeper than Heerlen but very well controlled and feels as accurate as on their high end German counterparts (Siemens, Telefunken, Valvo etc.)
