What if I believe there’s an issue with a tube I received?
Please contact us at support@soundlumia.com before initiating a return. Every tube is professionally tested before listing and again before shipment, but if you believe there is a performance issue, please send your order number along with a description of the problem and any available test results, photos, or video.

Tube Testing, Matching & Authenticity
How do you guarantee tube authenticity?
How do you guarantee tube authenticity?
We specialize exclusively in authentic vintage production tubes. Each tube undergoes a careful visual inspection of its internal construction, along with verification of factory and date codes where available. We accurately represent each tube’s manufacturer, production origin, and construction details, giving customers clear information to evaluate its authenticity and provenance.
What testing equipment do you use?
What testing equipment do you use?
We use RoeTest V11, a highly sophisticated professional tube tester, to measure important technical parameters for vacuum tubes such as mutual conductance(S), plate current(Ia), input resistance(Ri) etc. The original RoeTest test report for each tube is available for download from the product listing.
What does “matched” mean, and how are matched pairs and sets selected?
What does “matched” mean, and how are matched pairs and sets selected?
“Matched” means the tubes in a pair or set have been individually tested and selected to perform within Soundlumia’s defined matching criteria for that tube type. Matching is based on the electrical measurements most relevant to the tube, which may include transconductance, plate current, or other applicable parameters.
Tubes that meet the required tolerance are grouped into matched pairs or sets and retested before shipment.
Why might my test readings differ from yours?
Why might my test readings differ from yours?
Tube test readings can vary between testers due to differences in tester design, calibration, operating conditions, test settings, and measurement method. Even properly functioning testers may not produce identical numerical results for the same tube.
For that reason, readings from different testers should not always be compared as direct equivalents. If you have concerns about a tube you received, send us the tester model, settings, and results so we can review them with you.
