Tube Care & Handling

Vintage tubes should be handled with care. Always power equipment off and allow tubes to cool before installing or removing them. When possible, handle tubes by the base rather than pulling on the glass, and avoid bending or unnecessarily cleaning the pins.

Store unused tubes in a dry, protected location. Cosmetic variations, label wear, and other age-related characteristics are normal with authentic vintage stock and are documented in the product listing where relevant.

Ecco la risposta: il tono della fine degli anni ’50 e dei primissimi anni ’60, l’inizio di oltre un decennio di eccellenza sonora, il modello tonale classico per tutti i grandi (e maggiori) tubi Amperex/Philips/Valvo/Miniwatt che sarebbero stati prodotti negli anni a venire, il tono radiofonico Philips senza tempo che molti di noi sono cresciuti ascoltando.

La caratteristica sonora più distintiva delle Heerlen 12AU7 è la presentazione trasparente, naturale ed espansiva delle medie frequenze, con un leggero tocco di calore che illumina la tua musica. Ogni brano che ascolti attraverso questi tubi suona come da un disco in vinile, indipendentemente dalla sorgente sonora, che sia fonografica o meno. Il palcoscenico sonoro è spazioso, profondo, strutturato e olografico. I bassi sono incredibilmente profondi ma ben controllati e risultano precisi quanto quelli delle ECC82 tedesche di fascia alta (Siemens, Telefunken, Valvo Hamburg ecc.). La prestazione stellare del foil d-getter porta tutte queste meravigliose qualità sonore a un livello completamente nuovo: la separazione degli strumenti è super pulita, il recupero dei dettagli è surreale, e non c’è bisogno di dire che il rumore estremamente basso di questi tubi è praticamente inesistente.
